• This course is run in conjunction with the Methodist Church and is an experience based course for people involved in, or wanting to become involved in, pastoral work in the local church.
• Units include: Pastoral Care and the Community, Pastoral Theology and Bereavement and Loss.
• Each student has their own course tutor to whom they can refer throughout the course.
• Opportunity to reflect on current practice and to enhance skills.
• Course fees include: home study materials, tutorial support and four residential weekends, full accommodation and all meals.
• This course can be taken as part of ministerial and diaconal probation studies.

The Residential Weekends for the 2010-11 course are:

• 8th – 10th January 2010
• 9th – 11th April 2010
• 10th – 12th September 2010
• 7th – 9th January 2011

The cost of the course is £895 that includes training material, meals and accommodation at Wesley College.
