Masters Degree (MA)

The College offers an ecumenical MA in Theology and Ministry that may be taken either full or part-time. Taught by an experienced ecumenical team, the curriculum provides an opportunity to do reflective experience-based theology. Students have included youth workers, deacons, pastoral assistants and teachers as well as clergy from the Anglican, Roman Catholic and Methodist churches.

The MA may be taken full or part-time and consists of five taught units and a dissertation of about 20,000 words. Tutorial support is given in research methodology and, in the case of overseas students, in English. International students should normally have a score of 6.5 Undergraduate – 7.0 Postgraduate on the IELTS scale.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The College has close links with the postgraduate programme at the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Bristol University and works with it to provide research facilities and supervision for doctoral students.
